After the spot has loosened, use your treated cloth to continue to blot out the stain. Never rub or scrub as this only cause the stain to worsen as it spreads out further and is pushed deeper into the carpet’s fibers. Repeat blotting until the stain is removed. Once satisfied the stain is clear, use a clean, cloth that is damp with pure water to blot the solution completely out completely and any lingering residues. Avoid over saturating the cloth to help prevent over saturating the carpets. After you rinsed the solution away by blotting the area with a clean, damp cloth, ensure the area is dry. Start by using a dry cloth to remove the excess moisture by blotting. Follow up by placing a dry towel over the area and stack some heavy objects on top of the towel to allow the deep moisture to draw up into the towel. Leave it alone until the next day.
