To clean pet urine, mix together 1 cup of vinegar, 1 cup of warm water, and 2 tablespoons of baking soda and put the mixture in a spray bottle. Spray the site of the urine and let the solution sit on the area for five to ten minutes. Afterwards, blot the solution with a cloth until the mess is cleaned.
How to Clean Vomit & Feces on Carpet
Vomit is one of the worst types of accident that can occur on the carpet. The acid in the vomit can make it difficult to remove the stain. When your pet vomits, you will want to remove the solid or larger chunks first. Use a scraper or even a dust pan to remove most of the vomit. Like the urine, use paper towels to absorb the moisture out of the carpet. Vomit can be a more difficult stain to remove than the urine. Create a mixture of two cups of warm water, one tablespoon of salt, one tablespoon of liquid dish soap and ½ cup of vinegar. You will want to use a sponge and dip it into the mixture and blot at the stain. Vomit stain can be fairly large, so when blotting at the stain start at the outer side of the stain and work your way inwards. This will help prevent the stain from spreading. Continue cleaning at the stain until it is gone. Use paper towels or a cloth to blot the site dry. You can use the same method to clean feces.
